Rooted in traditional technique and refined by years of hands-on practice, our work reflects a genuine pride in the craft of painting. We have built our expertise through projects that demand more than a standard approach — older homes, historic properties, and clients who care about the details. We are EPA Lead Renovation, Repair & Painting (RRP) certified — a requirement for work on pre-1978 homes and a reflection of our commitment to safe, responsible practice on older properties. We invest continuously in training and professional development within our trade, ensuring that our methods remain current with industry standards and best practices.

How We Work

Every project begins with a careful assessment. Before a brush is lifted, we evaluate the surface condition, identify any underlying issues, and determine the appropriate materials and sequence of work. This step is not a formality — it is what separates a finish that holds from one that fails prematurely.

We select materials based on what the surface and the structure actually require. On historic and older homes, that often means working with products and methods that differ from conventional painting practice — lime-compatible primers, oil-based systems, epoxy consolidants, and application techniques suited to aged wood and masonry. We do not default to what is easiest or most convenient.

We communicate clearly throughout the process. You will know what we are doing, why we are doing it, and what to expect when the work is complete. Our goal is not simply a good-looking finish — it is a result you can rely on for years to come.
